Kidnastics

KIDNASTICS is a program of developmental movement skills utilizing light apparatus such as streamers, rhythm sticks, and safety spots to stimulate body control and self-understanding. The activities develope gross motor agility, balance, and co-ordination, while they provide integration of visual tracking, hand-eye co-ordination, and special orientation. This integrative balance of physical and perceptual abilities has been termed Kinesensory Development. The Association for Kinesensory Teaching is a professional organization with the express purpose of bringing this type of program to the child care and pre-school facility.
